Dr. Celine Minasian earned her bachelor’s degree in speech, language, and hearing sciences, with a minor in gerontology, from San Diego State University. She received her doctorate in audiology from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and completed her doctoral audiology externship at UCLA Health, where she provided comprehensive care to a diverse patient population. A Lyric-certified audiologist, Dr. Minasian graduated in 2024 from the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) program. She was also a recipient of the CaptionCall national scholarship in 2022.
Dr. Minasian’s journey into the field of audiology began at a very young age — she was diagnosed with hearing loss in both ears at just three months old and fitted with hearing aids shortly thereafter. Her personal experiences with hearing challenges have shaped her understanding of audiology, motivating her to help others facing similar obstacles.
What Dr. Minasian loves most about her career is the opportunity to form strong, personal connections with her patients, offering tailored support and improving their quality of life. She values the family-like environment at South Bay Hearing and the genuine care that the audiologists and support staff demonstrate toward their patients.
Outside the office, Dr. Minasian enjoys playing volleyball and basketball, cheering on the LA Lakers and LA Rams, and listening to all things Taylor Swift. She also loves spending time with her big Armenian family, celebrating both new and old traditions together.
